Today, we began a new sequence on Bridget Jones's diary.
- We first saw a poster of the movie and described it.
- We then heard the beginning of the movie and made these exercises (worksheet made by S. MOUELLIC).
- We saw the extract and worked on the fill in the gaps script (worksheet made by S. MOUELLIC). The correction is here.
On Thursday, we will study this text (worksheet made by H. QUINSON), so take a look at it and start reading it.
HW: We learned some new vocabulary that you have to learn for Thursday as well as the lesson.
Your test on Friends will take place on Thursday, so learn your lesson and vocabulary.

Today, you had your test on Friends (at last !) You can find the correction here.(Je viens d'apporter une petite modification !! Je m'étais trompée dans la dernière phrase à traduire !)
We then worked on a new written document: A Day of Horror, the extract from Bridget Jones's Diary which corresponds to the extract we saw in class on Tuesday. We took some notes on the characteristics of a diary and answered some comprehension questions (Part I till question n°6).
HW: You have to finish part I and do part II + the lesson to learn.

Today, I gave you back your copies on The Da Vinci Code and your tests on Friends.
(see the correction here)We corrected question 6 on Bridget Jones's Diary "A Day of Horror" and we heard the text. We started correcting the questions of the 2nd part: q.7 and the grammar point on preterite simple and preterite Be + V-ing. HW: for thursday you have to learn your lesson and answer all the questions of the second part.

Two of you had not done the test on Friends, so they worked on a new one while we talked about Bridget Jones’s text.
Then we worked on question 8 and we saw the grammar point on Agir sur quelqu'un.
HW: I gave you a new text (I put it in your "casier") that you have to read and answer the questions: New Year's Resolutions.

Today, you had your test on Bridget Jones's Diary on the first hour.
Then, we finished the translating part of the text A day of Horror.We then began something new: we saw the poster of Pride and Prejudice that seemed to please you a lot, this sentence above all that you nearly all write somewhere to keep it in mind:
"Sometimes the last person on earth you want to be withis the one person you can't be with."
HW: You have to read the Pride and Prejudice review that I gave you.
